When I let off the throttle, there is a rattling noise coming from the front of the motor and it started leaking oil out of the crank pulley(behind it..).

at idle it runs super strong..

SR Redtop pretty much stock except for RAS and an oil pan..

Any ideas? I'm either thinking its..

Bearings, Oil pump, or my oil pick up fell and is rattling around in the oil pan? and the front main seal is just another problem?

Lol, if your oil pickup fell off you would be sitting in a big puddle of oil and bearing shavings crying right about now.

But anyways, the noise you are hearing and your oil leak are most likely unrelated.

The leak is obvious, you need a new crank seal.

the noise is not so obvious, there are a lot of things going on in there.
timing chain is often noisy, perhaps check your tensioner, or your guides may be really worn, they are only plastic. Aside from that, if your oil pump blew up enough to make lots of noise, you wouldn't have any oil pressure.

check your timing chain and replace your seal.

but after you rev it and it makes the noise, does it go away?

im thinking its a timing chain/tensioner. i'd replace both. doesn't cost much. just the labor if you dont want to do it yourself. and while your at it, get a new oil pump which comes with front main seal.

yes it goes away afterwards.

Got a new oil pump. Not in yet though.

If you're gonna change the oil pump, check and see if the chain guides are still good. If the plastic guides are gone...time to change those and the timing chain too.

If its rod knock, it usually doesnt knock at idle. Usually, you'd rev the engine up and it'll rattle at a "sweet spot." From my experience, it's usually between 3k to 4k rpm.
