Hi im kinda new here!
this is pretty long and not written with the best words... so sorry for this (im swedish :)) please bare with me thou. if there is something you dont understand please point it out and ill try to explain better..
i´ll get straight to it,
i have a nissan 200sx s14 -1995 with an sr20det (yes its called 200sx in europe instead of 240sx)
the engine broke down and i got a hold of an redtop with ecu 62 for cheaps.
i later on realized that there are some differences between these engines.
i figured my case was to buy a s13 to s14 harness from wiring specialties.
got it the other day and started to install it.
its obvious there are some changes because of LHD and RHD but thats not a issue.... so far.
some connectors are missing or have a different plug on it. like the engine temp sensor and the temp sender or whats it called. its just one plug with 3 wires on the harness.
also the wiper amplifier. i have the brown box with i think 7 pretty wide pins.
on the harness there is the same colors but a completely different plug.
could/should i cut it and use the old plug?
and in the car side the harness is slightly different.
i removed 2 blueish connectors to 2 relays. these are now unused.
there arent any plugs on the harness that i can use there.
what are they?
when i turn the key.
the fuelpump wont start at all. the engine cranks fine.
i tried hardwire the fuelpump from the battery that i have in the boot.
it starts right up but it get so much fuel! goes rich like crazy blowing black smoke out back.
my tacho isnt working either nothing on it, well it maybe showed fuel know when i think about it. and the digital clock works aswell.
what should i do? is the fuelpump relay one of those 2 blue relays right next to the ecu and how should i connect it?
would be very thankful for some help cause im stuck and dont know were to turn..
