Okay so a couple of weeks ago I got my hands on a bolt to swap out the VVT cam for an S13 one. Long story short, the bolt was the wrong size and I ended up having to put the cam back on any way.
After I put everything back together, I tried to start it and it wouldn't start. Whenever I attempt to start it. It will crank for about 4 turns and then it stops. every now and again it will turn over and run and then die a shaky, jerky death..
Sometimes It sounds like the chain is hitting something at the bottom or something not good..I took a pick up stick with a light at the tip and looked down as far as I could for anything and found nothing...
I will say that when I was messing with the timing chain that I didn't keep tension on it and now there is slack in it. When I reset the the timing back to TDC, it skipped a few times and then tightened back up?
Help? :)
