Where can I find a shop in NC, preferably Raleigh, that can do an SR20DET swap and a 5speed swap on my S14? :aw:

theres also jdmpartsplus.com a little closer to you.. in Goldsboro. Justin (i forgot his SN on the boards) works there. knows what he's doing. but JK is a good shop too. took care of my buddy Corey when he bought his SR there.

exessive26 is referring to moi :D

JK Motorsports's owner and his son both have SR fastbacks (the owner's is not moving last i checked as it is undergoing some badass mods  the son's is very clean install). they stand by their engines and seem to take care of their customers well. They have Tein stuff too and can get a lot of stuff.

As far as Raleigh (where i go to school :D), Happy Japs is supposed to be a good repair shop, i think they can do it (haven't been there but a friend of mine highly recommends them). as surprising as this sounds, Phantasm (*shudder*) can do it, they've done like 13 or so. they have a BAD rep because the owner basically gives out stickers to any schmoe with a ragged-out POS and the riceboys hang out there all the time, but a few of the guys there know what they're doing (ask for Brian, I talk with him on a local forum sometimes). i actually did mine myself and got Jon (goes by "planB" online) to do my harness wiring. I've heard that there is a place called "Japan Direct" or something that can get SRs but i haven't dealt with them so i can't say either way. i didn't hear about jdmpartsplus until now so i'm gonna check it out :D

Sorry, I meant to say I was referring to Steeles' statement. Although right now we specialize mainly in Skyline front clips with the occasional SR and CA coming in. We directly import from Japan and do not use a stateside source.

Do either of you guys (whose shops are in NC) sell S13 Silvia front end conversions? If so...how much?? PM me :)

thanks,
