i have a built sr20det motor and was wondering if i can daily drive it with stock injectors and ecu during break in or until my pfc d-jetro comes in?
it turns on and runs fine, just running kinda rich.
a simple mods list if it matters so you guys get the idea
port polish head
camshafts
pistons
rods
valves
retainers
etc. etc.

So long as you didnt get a bigger turbo or mess with boost too much you should be fine. The huge worry is that you will lean out, and that will fry your engine fairly quickly.

The Cams are gonna mess around with the AFR's since the ECU aint tuned for it.
You need to not boost that engine at all untill the ECU is tuned, Ex: 10psi on a GT2871 is like 18psi on a T25 since the 2871 Flows more air, (boost is not the same between them)

so are you saying i can set my boost 0 psi and run it like that? or can i just leave my boost at 7psi and not punch the car at all? not getting ecu tuned i am actually waiting on pfc to come in, and its taking a trillion years. i just wanted to know if it would be safe to run it with stock ecu and injectors until my pfc gets in. im just getting impatient on waiting for the pfc to come in, install it then having it to break the car in like that. i want to see if i can break it in with stock ecu and injectors so when pfc comes in i can just install it and go tune it.... btw planning on getting it tune from steve shadows :D he's the f*cken man to go to! if its not safe to break in my motor with stock ecu and injectors then i will not do it thanks!

he's saying the second one. just stay out of boost and drive to your tuner.

Exactly! Don't punch the car at all during the "break-in" period. Those cams are for sure going to mess with AFR like Sileighty had said. It's gonna be hard driving that on the streets not wanting to race those hondas ^_^. Goodluck mang, and get that thing tuned before punching it.
