So I went to install my new Walbro this weekend (got a kit off a Zilvia advertiser), and for whatever reason it fits like shit. The rubber isolator that goes on the bottom of it is nowhere near fitting, it's probably off an inch and a half away. I know it's installed going the right direction because there's only one way that the bag/filter can go. Has anyone else run into this problem? It seems like the hose just won't allow the pump to sit properly. I really wish that I had pics, I should have taken them but I got the pump to sit ok with what I think is enough pressure so I just have it in for now but want to get it fixed correctly tomorrow. Thanks guys.

Ditto. Then zip tie it if you are still concerned.

Yeah mine is zip tied right now. I don't really get how cutting the hose would help though, the problem is the angle that the fuel pump is sitting at. The line going down to the bracket to hold the pump in isn't straight up and down it's at an angle.
