who would really want to wreak a supra or a rx7. i wouldnt even want to try it with a skyline. they are so expensive to fix.

it wont mess up the car, but just the fact that you could mess it up. if you are really a great driver then go for it. it would be pretty impressive to see them drift

drifting puts stress on almost every part of the car the chasis , tires, brakes, suspension, and the engine. so you want to keep cost down as low as possible its much more cost effective to use a hachi roku than a R34 to begin with.

also the supra clip is the JUN supra powersliding through a track eating up the tires.. pretty crazy.

First I have the clip of the yellow JUN sup if anyone wants it. Second a lot of people drift RX-7's, more in japan then the states. Plus i have seen tons of wrx, lancer, GT-Rs, porches(Yes I said porch) pics on line and in vids. The reason a lot of people mod the AE86 is its normally cheaper plue I hear it has a kick ass chassie(weight ration).

just my two dollars and three cents...

Yeah, they do drift other cars. One thing about the 3000gt, is that it's either FWD or AWD. FR cars are the most notorious for drifting, though as it has been said, they do drift lancers and skylines, sometimes porches. I think it also tends to be lighter cars that drift more often right? 3S cars are pretty heavy. VR4's and R/T TT's are around 3800 pounds I believe.

One thing I have noticed when getting a 3000gt vr4/88-91 prelude some have AWS. All wheel streering which is extremely difficult to drift. My roommate has a aws prelude and he can drift it but its something cannot hold threw the corner for long.. and with the whole difting back and forth on a straight road just dosnt happen with aws.... justs a heads up for all you drift fans..
