Well as some of you may know, BEISSEN (aka Josh) had his car involved in a slight accident. Details were explained in another post. But for some of you that don't know what happened, I will give a brief story.
While Josh is away in South Korea, he covered his car, and cancel his insurance. However while he was away, one night (i believe) his car was being driven by someone else (his mom's boyfriend) and the guy steered to miss a deer however countersteered into a concrete sewer ditch causing serious suspension damage and minor body damage. Remember.....THERE IS NO INSURANCE ON THE CAR.
His mom wants to pay for the damages...however Josh wants to wait until he get back from North Korea to fix it himself. I will see if I can get a quote on JUST the suspension damage and see if she will fork over the money to fix it. He is still doing payments on the car and how much is left is unknown (for now). If he was to have insurance at the time of the accident....the insurance company would have totaled the car and pay off the loan. They would have totaled it mainly because of the body damage...some of it was already there (such as the hood) but any body shop would be quick to replace the parts and state it on the estimate....thus jacking up the final estimate to $4000+ (the S14 is so overpriced on parts). Here is my take on what is damaged on the car...from what I can see...
Suspension/Wheels (Passenger side):
*lower control arm
*inner tie rod
*outer tie rod
*T/C rod
*front steelie (4-lug, 15")
*both tires
*What I believe is part of the crossmember
Bodywork (note: this may not be taken care of):
*dented hood (previous damage)
*minor cracked front bumper
*scuffed up front and rear bumper (repaint is needed)
*dented passenger side fender (most be replaced, unless repairable)
*cracked driver side taillight (previous damage)
Misc:
*bent N1 dual exahust tip
The is NO FRAME DAMAGE and the engine runs fine. I started up the car and it runs AWESOME. The interior is dirty mainly because the windows were down during the accident. Josh was very lucky that I didn't jack any of his pieces...the trunklid and taillights were calling my name. :p
I'm not taking any sides on this case....mainly because I'm upset with both sides.

THIS CAR IS NOT FOR SALE, NOR WILL IT BE PARTED OUT!!!!
So don't ask for headlights or S14 seats (even though its tempting).
