Hey

I've got the single slammer in my 240 and I'm having some idle issues with it. NORMALLY when I start it up, it idles at 2k RPMS but once I start driving it, it idles at 1k as usual. But recently, when I turn it on it starts at 1.5K and fluctuates to 2k and back down, like I'm revving it up over and over again, but then once I start driving it stops but idles at 2K most of the time.

I cleaned the IACV already and that didn't help. So far, I haven't seen any leaks in the hoses. Even when I brake and the car revs up and down, I can feel the brake pulling too. When we took the sensors off the fuel rail on the top of the engine, it ran better but still revved at 2K or would occasionally rev up and down.

Here's the video of how it is sometimes.

If you have any idea what it might be, please let me know. Thanks!

Sounds like a vaccum leak. Grab a can of throttle body cleaner and spray your vaccum lines and around your intake manifold while the cars running and if you notice a jump in your idle you found the leak. If the problem is relevant to your operating temp, then it could also be your coolant temp sensor. Is your car running pig rich while the idle jumps around?
