I finally fired up my RB20 for the first time after rebuilding it yesterday and the thing runs Mint ! only problem is this :

when i put my foot on the clutch and depress it the slightest bit all i hear is a loud screech. kinda like when your power steering belt or alternator belt when its too loose.

im guessing this is something with the release bearing. but before i start taking the tranny out of the car what should i expect or look for ?

thanks guys.

if it makes any difference in judgment then i'll mention that i have an ACT street disk and ACT heavy duty pressure plate with a KA release bearing.
