I've already bought my Prokits and decided I should probably get the shocks first but I want adjustables so wich ones should I get that will work with the Prokits. I've heard of some that need a short stroke but I'm not sure if these would be included.

Also are adjustables really worth the extra $$?

You won't need short strokes for ProKits. If you have an S13, go with the KYB AGX's. If you autox or race, they are definitely worth the extra money.

Are you putting them on an S13 or an S14. Someone told me that AGX tends to break on S14s but is a great app. on S13s. What year 240 is it for?

Also, a lot of people consider Tokicos and Konis. Look into those as well, they're all respectable products.

It's an '89 coupe. It looks like most of the adjust ables run $120 for front and $90 for rear. Does that sound about right?

As far as I know, yes.

When are you looking to purchase them? We may be able to get another group buy going... hopefully with no complications.

I also noticed on the KYB AGX they specify Driversied and Passenger sid. why is this, what is the difference?

Driver's side shocks should be stronger: you have the steering column and some of the exhaust system on this side.

oh I see. You learn something everyday.

I actually already have the springs so I don't think I have time to wait for a group buy.

I see . Well, try other resources such as "Groupbuy.com" or try EBay to see if anyone's auctioning off any new shocks, you may be able to find them for cheaper. Then again, you probably knew this.

Good luck in your quest .

What do you guys think about Sportlines and KYB AGX's?

No personal experience with the Sportlines, but I hear their spring rate ins't increased enough to justify the lower stance, causing the suspension to bottom out during aggressive transitions. I'm guessing they're mainly a "looks" mod.

I dont think KYB made an AGX for S14's

I'm going with Grex or tanabe springs and GR-2's
