hi all i'm going to do 26mm z32 front brakes conversion, and plan do the rear as well in the future. I have a S14 5speed with ABS. I won this ebay item (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=33566&item=2425052952) , the total price is $70USD including shipping to Canada. The seller doesn't know what size it was, so if it turns out to be the smaller ones (say 1" or even 15/16"), is it still worth buying it? Is there a huge difference between each of the 3 sizes (15/16", 1", 17/16")?

i ended putting on the 17/16" one for my Z32 brake upgrade, i loved it. the pedal is very firm. less than 1" of depression before it hardens. i would guess a 1" MC would be fine, but wouldnt get the 15/16" though. i think the stock SE's are already 15/16".

It wont make one bit of a difference in my opinion. I just got a 1" one for my 240, and Im in the middle of the poject now. PM me in like a week and Ill tell you how it feels the 30mm Z32 calipers in front and Z32 calipers in the rear.
Just for reference, Nissan mad 3 different sizes, 15/16", 1", and 1 1/16". Were talking 2/16" different between the biggest and the smallest, I cant see anyone feeling a difference from 2/16".
Also all of those powered the same brakes all through the time the Z32 was made. So why would it not work now?
You should have no problems, IMO.
