A week or so ago I figured I blew the turbo on my car.
Car is an SR20 with a TD06 top mount. Was puffing smoke once it was warm, compression was good, took the air filter off and there was a river of oil coming down, so figured I blew the turbo seals. I took the coldside of the turbo off, hotside was coated with oil (to be expected, I think?). Cleaned it all out, put a different coldside on, started it up and let it run a minute or so. Noticed the return line gasket was leaking, so shut it off, took the coldside off to fix the leak and again the hotside is completely coated with oil on the inside.
Is my second coldside blown too? Or is there a different problem I'm missing somewhere?
