I have just finished my build on a ka24et (z32 maf,444cc injectors, gtr fp, fmic t25,rom tune, etc)
This motor has not ran yet and i have replaced every single thing on the motor already, its been months and all it wants to do is start idle very roughly only while holding gas down a quarter. than eventually die out, the dizzy will not bolt up because the only place it starts is where it is so retarded it wont bolt up. now i know the timing chain is proper (pulled cover, crank and cam set to 12 oclock at tdc silver links on each punch mark.) the oil pump timing is also set to 12 oclock backwards D and the dizzy rotor points to bottom right (1st cylinder). I know my injectors are firing i have perfect spark ( new plugs wires coil and dizzy and cap) WHAT CAN THIS BE! its driving me crazy. Am i missing something?! i keep double checking oil pump timing because i know its so finicky so tonight i pulled 1st cyl spark plug stuck my finger in felt compression up to tdc so i knew it was compression stroke and sure enough oil pump shaft was perfect 12 o clock. how is this!

maybe something vacuum related on the intake manifold side?

I would restab the dizzy. If you said the only place were it runs is fully retarded it sounds like you're a tooth off.

Be sure to check your MAF too just in case.
