just started watching this, and it's the best thing ever. I used to watch DBZ when I was a kid, and now this thing shows up for my 2010 attention span, and it's awesome.

if you could recommend ONE other series to somebody who fucking LOVES this one, what would it be?

dragin ball gt kinda got on my nerves, pam and giru were so annoying in my eyes, but goku was still a beast as always.
ive been a dbz fan since it came out so long ago, while other kids were watchin franklin and little bear, i watch dbz lol. and i love that kai is comin out now, but thay need to stop showing reruns and get back to the story (start sept 6 continuing the story)

Thats because GT wasnt being created by Akira Toriyama (dude who created DB and DBZ) anymore. Although I do think the 7 evil shenlongs from DBGT was the greatest DB saga ever.. next to the buu saga

I'm just now watching this, never knew this came out so I'm a little confused as to where in the timeline this fits. Pretty interesting so far.

The link I posted takes place after the Buu Saga, but before DragonBall GT. Remember guys, DB creator Akira Toriyama handed off the license to a relative for GT. He had nothing to do with GT and has gone on record saying he wished it never happened. Toriyami made that short and awesome OVA in celebration of Shonen Jump's anniversary.

Rumors of Dragonball AF have been floating around for over 12 years. Not likely to happen. If Akira Toriyami does greenlight a new DragonBall show, it will probably operate under the basis that DBGT never happened.

Be serious, man. Dragonball is only good because of the nostalga. The draw-style is niche, the storyline ain't worth a damn, the music is inconsistant, most fights are repetitive & rarely do you see any real martial arts...

All the same, I still love DB too. But it's definently about the nostalga for me. I need more content in my anime these days.

That brought back all types of memories. I would like to see a new Dragonball with better animation, no filler and more story, that would be bomb.

I'd like to see a new DragonBall story with a whole lot less emphasis on the Saiyans. Like semi-new characters running around having adventures with veterans like Uub and Piccolo. And when you finally do run into one of the Saiyans, it's a big fucking deal!

Alot has forsure changed, the story is the same YES, but its been restored color wise, and the voices were all redone. and with the story, there r NO FILLER!!!!! its all story and straight to the point. for those who were saying its the same, and had all the fillers. For example when Goku was flying to namek, which before took like 20 episodes, was shortened to 3.

Eww no. I mean, there are various moments of unintentional hilarity in Fist of the North Star... but good? Hell no.

Good is FMA:Brotherhood, Black Lagoon, Ghost in a Shell: SAC, HOTD, Cowboy Bebop and Champloo. Stuff like that is good. DBZ and North Star is like reliving your childhood by watching He-Man or GI Joe... Simpler shows for simpler times.

Samurai 7 was ok and I liked Claymore, DBZ Kai shows here on Sunday so I am forced to watch it because my son thinks its the greatest thing ever along with some other kiddy stuff.

I have to admit I thoroughly enjoy Keroro though!
