I know some of you are thinking, "Uhm, Jeff doesn't have a 240 anymore". You are correct, but I still reserve the right to worry about my old one.
A friend said he saw a black 240 coupe smashed up on the highway in our neighborhood yesterday. I suppose if it had been a hatchback (and I drove a hatchback), that'd be a different story. There's a lot of those, so odds would be on my side.
But it wasn't. It was a coupe. He said it looked "just like your car, but without the stickers in the rear window". Well, who am I to know if he left those there or not? That's no hint at all.
So, I drove to his house at about 1am last night. Yes, that's right, I stalk my old car. Anyway, the car wasn't in the driveway. I'm so worried now. That guy better not have busted up my 240. I'd cry.
Well, okay, I wouldn't. But I'd at least sniffle. I need to get to the bottom of this, and I thought, somehow, you'd all understand.
