Speedworld's 6th Annual September 11th Memorial Event
Speedworld's 6th Annual September 11th Memorial Event Join us for this patriotic memorial in remembrance of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on our country. It was 9 years ago on this date that America witnessed this horrific tragedy that changed our lives forever. Speedworld Raceway Park is proud to team with local and national sponsors to bring you this year’s September 11th Memorial Event in remembrance of this tragic day in our history.
Speedworld is proud to announce that we are working with Operation Homefront of Arizona on this event. In doing so, a portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to Operation Homefront of AZ. OHAZ is a non profit group which aides the Arizona families of our service members and wounded warriors. More information on Operation Homefront can be found on their web site by clicking here.
The US Air Force Honor Guard will be presenting the moment of silence for the Americans that were lost on September 11th. The moment of silence will be immediately followed by an honorary afterburner display by the Invader and Sizzler Jet Cars.
