Heres why I say it:

http://www.courtesyparts.com/350z/paint.html

It shows Daytona Blue as B17

http://www.nissan-global.com/GCC/Japan/NEWS/20000508_0e.html

Second Link Shows TV3 as Brilliant Blue

that's what i get for reading other people's posts instead of doing my own research....

and the scary thing is, i believed one of estavan's posts:

afaik.. all blues of nissan are TV'X' X being some number

TV3 is the color for the dark blue on the new 350Z
TV2 is bayside blue metallic from the R34

Estevan sucks. He is not even internet drifter. He is just internet poser. He has no purpose. "I'm going to build my car to do... well I don't know since I really don't do anything. I'm just going to build it to look cool and stuff. And I want to paint it doodoo brown. I hear that jr high girls like that color."

s15 blue is TV1. If you go to www.japanesemotorsport.com.au (something like that) you can see Denzo's old car. I think the zilvia gallery also has some pics. When I was looking for a pic of a bayside blue s13, I came upon his car. I e-mailed him about the color and he said it was tv1 (s15 blue) not tv2 (r34 bayside blue). I had already bought the TV2 paint, but I'm happy with how my car turned out.

That car looks so hot though. It inspired me to go with gold wheels on a blue s13 (like the scoobies too).

Johann (haha, too much info. oh well)

cause i swear when i went down to the shop when they mixed 4 ounces of it to make me tv1 to show me the color it was way lighter..it was super light....anyone know what goes in it? =) A bob marley you got any pics of your car with TV2? and so this is sapposed to be TV1?

I'm not too sure because I've seen s15's in both colors (supposedly stock color). It could just be the light? I really don't know. I would think that tv1 would be similar to tv2, but that might not be true... Sorry  ?

I'll let you know if I come up with anything.

Here is my car (gold wheels in the mail; CE28N's for those who care)

I'm pretty sure TV3 "brilliant blue" was a replacement for TV1 "opal blue".

If you just do a little research on the net, you'll see the S15 Silvia never had it's own unique shade of blue. Paint color TV1 was used on the Tino and March for model years 1998 and before. TV3 was used on the Silvia (see my link earlier), Tino, March, and some other Nissan cars for the model year 2000 and after. The only year I'm not sure about is 1999.

But whatever, I might just say screw it and get my car painted Bimmer Avus Blue............
