Sorry im at work & cant hear the audio but does your tranny make a winding/grinding noise until you press the clutch in?

it dosen't make any noise until i release the clutch..once it makes contact it make a wining grinding noise then when i push the clutch in it goes away. does it in 1-3 BUT in reverse it will do it and when i disengage the clutch it still does it until i take it out of gear

you need a new throw out bearing yours is going out. while at it you might as well replace the rear main seal too since youre taking the tranny out. worth every penny and plus the time since you are replacing the throw out bearing.

not too hard some people use a flat head screw driver to take it out or unbolt the rear main seal housing out after you take the flywheel out. i would just take the housing out cause its easier and plus you wont have any scores on the housing or the crank shaft.
