I picked up a whole rear end from an NA z32 to use the brake parts for my s14. The rest of the parts i dont need. Looking to trade anything i have available for a front camber kit, q45 brakes, (2) 235/40/18 tires or anything SR related.
Everything is for sale as well, but trades are preferred. Show me what you got.
Heres what I have
Z32 N/A VLSD and axles- bolts into any 240, with the use of J30 axles.. $120, or $100 without axles.
Z32 N/A Subframe $50 (same as S14 subframe)
Z32 N/A E-brake cables- I need R33 cables for the z brake swap, but these are the cables you need to do Z brakes on an S13. $sold
Complete set of factory S14 suspension (struts and springs only) off my '98, 83k miles, nothing blown. (actually have two sets, mileage unknown on the 2nd) $50/set of 4
Front set of KYB GR2's for S13/14- can come with Megan springs for additional. $25 without, $45 with (this is fronts only)
DOHC KA O2 Sensor $15
5 lug hubs $SOLD
STOCK SR20 radiator $40
2 or 3 stock shifters $20, or buy something else and take one free.
Stock S13 driveshaft- not sure if its ABS or not, but if you tell me what to measure, ill measure it and find out. $60
Also, WTT S15 GT28R + cash for a gt2871r .64

I think you have to get 5 bolt J30 axles in order to use a z32 vlsd in a 240sx

I think you have to get 5 bolt J30 axles in order to use a z32 vlsd in a 240sx
Edit again, this information is correct. The NA Z32 VLSD uses 5-bolt half shafts, and s13/s14's use 6 bolt. So you'd need to use J30 axles, or (1) J30 axle and (1) na z32 axle.
If you buy the diff for a reasonable price, Ill toss the axles in for next to nothing.

I'm pretty sure that's for the tt, which uses larger axles.
Edit, the Z32 NA axles are too long for an S13. They bolt into an S14.
any1 know if this is right? because I hear the z32 NA axles are 0.5 inches too long for S14, if dood is right Im interested in the diff and axels shipped to 92555

Nope, I was wrong. Heres what i've found- but I recommend you do your own research before buying to confirm what ive found. Basically the axles are useless to us, but the diff will bolt in.
Diff Strength:
The Z32 NA VLSD internally is the same as a J30 VLSD and a S13/S14 VLSD. The input shaft and the output shafts have the same spline count. They are the same "strength".
Input Flanges:
The differences between all of these diffs are in the input flanges and the output flanges. All of the input flanges have the same diameter 4-bolt pattern.
The input flanges are different length though on the ABS (http://s-chassis.com/forums/showthread.php?p=361174#) and non ABS cars. The J30 has 3-channel ABS, due to this the ABS sensor being part of the input flange, and it lengthens the diff somewhat to accomodate the sensor. The Z32 has 4-channel ABS, and as such the sensors are on each output shaft and the input flange length is the same as a S13 or S14 without ABS.
I would say all of the Input flanges have the same "strength".
Output Flanges:
S13 and S14 have the Tri-Y 6-bolt flanges.
The J30's have either a Tri-Y 6-Bolt or an even spread 5-bolt pattern depending on year. Early 93-Early 94 are 5-bolt, Late 94-96 are Tri-Y 6-Bolt
All Z32 NA are 5-Bolt.
We can argue a lot on whether the Tri-Y 6-Bolt or the 5-Bolt are stronger, but I think it's a mute point. When people break R200's, they break the output shaft at the spline root, which is a stress concentration. They don't shear the flange bolts.
Axles:
Z32 track width is wider than the S chassis as well as the J30. Z32NA Axles will not work in any S chassis car. Maybe the Z32 NA Drivers side axle could work on the passenger side of the S13/S14, but that's purely speculation. I can take some measurements if anyone is interested.
If you want to use the Z32 NA diff or the Early J30 Diff, you need early J30 axles.
With the exception of the 5-bolt or Tri-Y flange on the axle, the rest of the construction is the same on all of these cars. Including the Spline count that enters the Hub.

Yes I would, but it'd be on your nickle. I can ship freight from a business, so i wouldnt RAPE you on shipping, but it still wouldnt be super cheap.
