View Full Version : alignment issues
Ok so i took the car to get an alignment yesterday.
THe guys told me that they could get -3* in the front but only on the passenger side. the driver side maxing out the camber plates will only give me -1.5*. so i guess my question is why is it doing this. The car drives straight but looks retarded and its causing the tire to rub pretty bad.

what coilovers do you have?
If they are DMAX then there is a slot where the coilover mounts to the spindle loosen that bolt push on the spindle to give you negative then tighten lol
and are both sides exactly the same height?
maybe your frame is bent?
my friends corolla has one camber plate all the way positve and one all the way negative hahaha and he has -4 on each side.
both camber plates are max negative.

He's saying what about the factory adjustment point where the strut meets the knuckle?
When I got my alignment they adjusted that before touching the camber plate.

my car has the same problem...
i was thinking, maybe worn out lower control arm bushings?

I'm on the same boat...one side, is maxed out at roughly 1.75" while the other side has more than double that at slightly over 3".
The side thats lower actually got crashed on. Had to change the lower control arm on that side with another one off another S14. Checked the coilover slots and both sides are the same. So no clue what else it could be.
