Hey Zilvia, my 13 was having overheating problems.
A friend told me it might be the thermostat. so i bought a new thermostat and installed it.

After installing it my car was still overheating and now has a leak somewhere. I rechecked and re tightened everything.

I tried to start the car, it would start but start bogging and shut off.

Would anyone know the problem ?
Anything would help. Thanks .

Oh yea and i bought a new radiator, but I havnt installed it yet. would that be the problem ?

Thanks again.

this happened to my friend
since your car was overheating it proly means that your engine is getting water where it isnt supposed too
check your spark plugs for water
if they have water im thinking its not sparking so yeah
good luck

Prob what C los is saying, and doing a compression test like fliprazin says will let you know if that is your problem.

Make sure your thermostat opens (if entire radiator is hot, than it opens) b.c i just installed a new one and the pos won't open .
