Ive got an s14 kouki sr20det thats all stock...

So I took it to a tuner in my area and hes saying that the car makes 174hp on the dyno because I have a walbro 255 fuel pump thats flowing too much fuel and my sr is "bogging out" around 5k rpm.

MY QUESTION....

Can I swap in my stock KA fuel pump and run it with my stock s14 kouki sr20det without messing anything up?

Thanks

Really... You may need a new tuner. 255lph is just fine and its better than stock. You can run your stock pump on low boost application. But I'd probably check FPR first or possibly a leaky injector seals.

Yeah thats exactly what I was thinking in regards to the fpr. He said that the car is only making 174hp and was "choaking" around 5k rpm. I war barely able to get a reading from the dyno. :duh:

if that really is the case, did he mention anything about getting an adjustable FPR and adjusting the freakin fuel pressure? wow
