1995 240sx with a 99 Front End Conversion And 99 SR20DET W/6 Speed (http://zilvia.net/f/#).

Currently the 6 Speed ( known to be much weaker than the stock 5 spd) is on its last leg. It pops out of Third if you dont hold stick shift. Thanks to last nights Drift Practice, reverse has stopped engaging completely.

I have a Nismo Super CopperMix Clutch Kithttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/mag-glass_10x10.gif (http://zilvia.net/f/#) and Flywheel Pressure plate in currently ...
I do not want to have to scrap the current ( New ) clutch setup due to swapping to 5 speed.. As the Coppermix clutch is perfect for drifting and Auto (http://zilvia.net/f/#) cross and cant afford to buy another one

I also have the 5 spd driveline and Transmission waiting to be put in.

- Does anyone have any pointers on how to make this work ?

Do I swap bell housings from 6 spd to 5 spd ?

HAve a drift Competition the 18th of September so I need to get this done asap

Thank you

You will have to use the entire 5 speed transmission including the bell housing...
The driveshaft will have to be changed to a 5 speed one as well... US S14 should work just fine...

I'm not sure the clutch will work... I think the offset is different and there are different part numbers for S14 vs. S15...

You will not need to have the 5 speed VSS wired up since it should still be getting the signal from the VSS in the pumpkin...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the 2 are different due to one being a push type (S13/S14) while the other is a pull type clutch (S15 Spec Rs). I thought I remember hearing that from somebody...

yep clutch wont work the offset is different so your going to need a s13/14 sr clutch. Also youll need a hole sr transmission and the drive shaft is also different well at least the the female part the stick in the ass end of the transmission. Also youll going to need a s14 speed sensor because the s13 wont work on a s14. Also just to let you know i have a exedy hyper single clutch kit up fro grabs came off my s14 sr and i also have a sr tranny that i only want 100 bucks for it so just lmk..
