HB Tokyo - Fine Quality Japanese Exports , they have a lot of cars that can be bought n shipped to you, I dont know how you would get it to pass all that customs crap but It's a start

seriously though, what would the purpose behind that be? basically the only difference (that matters at least) is the engine, which is readily available to be put into your USDM 240sx at a fraction of the cost of buying a 180sx. Not to mention the fact that a swapped 240sx is street legal while a 180sx is not.

It's a hassle that I dont think is worth it.....a friend who works for HKS took 1 year to get his 180 legalized and even he said it isn't worth it. There are ways to get it registered etc....just have to find loopholes.

RHD is for show cars and people that NEED to get attention......he only wanted RHD because he got too used to it in Japanland and wasn't comfortable w/ performance driving in anything but a RHD car.

He didn't ask for what you guys thought about importing it. At any rate, I was informed of these guys importing full cars for parts cars. The full cars can be had around $10k or less with all the goodies on it. I spoke to David and he was more than helpful to answer any questions.

yea but giving advice on a cheaper and more sensible alternative is generally welcome.

are you going to make it street legal?
if so, expect to spend quite an amount of money with a car thats readily available (240sx) and swap an SR in.
if I were to import a car, i would get a car thats not available here such as nissan cefiro, laurel, 4 door skyline, chaser, aristo, etc etc
but hey, its your call
talk to http://www.motorex.net/ and see what they can do

If you go to Motorex's site you will see that they have now put on there that they "DO NOT IMPORT SILVIAS"

Why? you ask...good question because it isn't worth it. We have them already (excluding the s15 of course)

Think twice. That's just the same as the whole 180 importing thing.
I'd definatly go for the ca18 if I wanted to make my own 180 replica.
