This is some information about the Flex-A-Lite Black Magic FLX-150. 15" single fan, won't fit on stock SR or KA radiators, but fits nicely on Koyo radiator for SR.

Yesterday I installed my fan with thermostat and my new Koyo radiator. When I got everything wired up the way that Flex wants it in the diagram, my car wouldn't shut off. For some reason, the fuel pump wire that I had T'd off for ignition was receiving power from one of the two (?) 12 volt leads that the control box supposedly wants according to the wiring diagram.

Well, it is not so. Here are my notes about the fan.

The_manual_says:
+_=_12_volt_positive_source
G_=_ground
B_=_12_volt_positive_source
C_=_AC_relay
M_=_Manual_Switch
M_is_the_ONLY_optional_connection.__The_rest_are_m andatory.

The_correct_wiring_diagram_is:
G_=_Ground
B_=_12_volt_(from_battery)
+_=_ignition_(from_fuel_pump_or_whatever)
C_&_M_are_both_Optional,_if_you_want_a_manual_switch_ or_for_A/C_relay

Please refer to the diagram that I attached to this thread for a more visual approach.

EDIT: No responses really needed, I just wanted this to end up in the archives since the diagram from the company sucks ***.

I do believe I've seen this installed on Grants 240 (which I think has a stock radiator), so I have to wonder why you say it wont fit on a stock KA radiator? Don't dash my hopes :cry:

Maybe it will, but this is what Wayne had to say about stock radiator with this fan:
