hello, what would you guys do if you had to leave an sr20 in the cold in winter? just protected from the snow, but still outside..
i am going to buy a clip but i won't have room for the engine in my garage since i have to weld the clip to the car w/ engine out
is there any way to protect the motor untill spring?
thanks a lot

weld it!!!! 90amp mig is the best to use. if ur gunna leave it outside, make sure you leave the throttle body locked open, valvecover off, and spark plugs out. make sure its under a tree the drops a lot of stuff. if i were you, i would also drain the oil out of it and run it for about 15 minutes so your oil doesnt gum-up while it sits. oh and make sure that when you take the spark plugs out, you fill each cylinder as much as you can with gasoline to keep them clean. oh and when you wanna clean your motor, use a torch to superheat the block and head and burn the stuff off. its really important that you spray it down with cold water afterwards. just make sure no matter what you do, you dont take the engine or wiring out of the clip.
