ok so my rb20det in my 13 has been misfiring prob about 30 min after driving I replaced the coilpacks to spitfires and still no go Ive changed plugs from bcpr6es-11 to bkr7e and still no go. i even put spacers on hood and removed cover over coilpacks because thought the Ignitor chip might be getting to hot and thats what is making it misfire but now I'm out of options.

And now onto the overheating ok so my car has been getting up to about 215 and climbing in less then 10min of driving. Ive checked for any small leaks and nothing. It has a brand new water pump and thermostat i have 2 12 inch fans wired up and always on (their pushers) i have a mix of about 70 water and 30 antifreeze with a big cx racing radiator. any help with either problem would be great

Okay, I had this same problem.

The turbo intake tube (maf to turbo tube) has 2 ports on it. The port/hose that goes to the valve cover, then across the 2nd valve cover, then to intake. Mine ended up having a hair line crack in the hose that goes from the valve cover to 2nd valve cover. The turbo sucked in un read air thus caising a missing fire coil pack noise.

I replaced my coils...did nothing. Then found that line with a crack in it, replaced it...fixed.

oh, and bleed your air out of coolent.

check ur heater core it could be clogged not letting coolant flow good ... i had a problem with mine heating up at first but after i changed the radiator to a 3 core and 2 12inch fans and no thermostat... never goes over 180 now which absolutly finew with

Did you try switching the coils around?

switching coils around wont do shit.

you've really tried everything thats possible with your ignition system.
maybe try getting a newer or better condition coilpack harness... thats probably the very last thing you can do. hope it helps
