Hi i have the chance to swap out my rb25 in my s13 for the 4.6 mustang gt v8.

I have been searching for info on this forum but cant find anything tbh, its mainly ls stuff that iam finding.

Anyhelp regarding how good they are or if there is anything to watch out for.

Reason for swapping are weight, weight position, reliability and scope for more reliable power down the road.

Any help is much appreciated :)

I woudln't waste the time, swap in an LSx, and make some good power.

LSx = Smaller, less weight, easier to make N/A power, cheaper, more setups

Modular = HUGE (fitment issues left and right), don't make jack shit N/A power, expensive, probably no other people to ask. Sure it's easy to say 'I'll put a blower on it', but how will it fit without some crazy custom hood?

(and I'm a ford guy!)

There is no comparison with this motor and an LSx engine... Heavier, bigger, less power, can't buy kits for it... Good luck man!

It's too wide, and doesn't make shit for power. You're far better off with a RB25.

sell it and get a better powerplant than a modular motor.
