View Full Version : Nismo reinforced clutch pedal bracket question.

So I broke my S13 clutch pedal bracket today and luckily made it home alright. I got onto FRSport and they sell the Nismo reinforced clutch pedal bracket, it mentions that these are only for RHD cars...

Has anyone tried to put on in a left hand drive car?

you'll have to modify to work with LHD from what i remember

I'm in the exact same situation as of a few days ago, lol. My plan is to get the bracket welded back and reinforced. Pretty much the same thing as the Nismo then, just without any modification needed.

Which part of yours broke? I broke the two little tabs on the bottom by the firewall that appear to be pinch welded together or something. Think I could get away with just pulling the bracket out and welding the piss out of it?

I have the nismo bracket on my LHD hatch and works just fine. It just doesnt have the extra bracket for the engagement switch for when you press the clutch down to start the car. I bypassed the switch itself to get the car start normally

I imagine the shop will do what you intend on doing, lol.

How did you by pass that switch?

jump the two wires for the neutral safety switch. read an auto to manual swap to get a better idea if you're still not certain about it.

Where are the two stud bolts at? I got the one on the top inside the car but where are the two other nuts?
