The car is a 1996 M3 and has had a lot of maintenance and upgrades completed. The car was bought in 2005 for $10900 out of Greensboro NC. We bought it as a new project to replace the 92’ SR20DET 240sx that I had. What we have done with the car is listed below.
The car is available to be seen in Blacksburg, VA (Virginia Tech)
The car has a FRESH Virginia Inspection and brand new rear tires and is ready to be driven anywhere!
$5000 (reduced from $5500)

I feel that our price of $5000 is very reasonable. There are still plenty of them selling for 9-12k in much better condition, and I feel my price reflects the cosmetic work it needs while still being a mechanically good car. The car runs and drives excellent. It has been sitting for a long time but I have been dirivng it around for the past few days. It fires right up and still runs like it did the day I got it. No weird noises or anything like that other than some Vanos noise, which we all know is common on tons of these. Sometimes I feel like I can hear the sway bar end links as well, so they could possibly need replaced. Everything else on the suspension is new and a-ok. The brakes work excellent with new rotors and slides on the calipers. I did have a caliper stick on me once the other day, however I through it in reverse for 10 feet and it hasn’t done it since. I imagine it was just where it was sitting. The body has a few misc dings on it, the front bumper needs repaired, which is pictured. The rear diffuser is missing, as well as the front fender liners and under panel. Had planned on buying new liners and a metal under panel but a new baby and engagement has put modifying cars on hold!!!! Which is why I want to sell my M3. My loss is your gain. The interior is pretty nice, but the headliner is completely fallen down, and the drivers seat is pretty worn out. The hood release handle is also broken, but It can still be opened easily. Lastly I would prefer to sell the car w/o a cd player, however if someone desperately wanted one, we could probably work it out!!
