how do you fix a valve tick because i got a nasty valve tick and its annoying????

Try using Valvoline VR1 20w50 that usually quiets the engine down substantially. Should be sold at your local Checkers or O Rielly auto parts

As previously stated adjust your valves or run a cleaner through it. For some reason when I fixed my chain tensioner it also helped.

^^ what she said. take your valve cover off and make sure your timing chain guide is still there it will be a little rectangular plate held in by two bolts.
