Hi,
I've done a lot of work on my interior before, but it's time to rip everything out and do it again, even better than before. This time, I want to remove the center console completely, so I can rip up the carpet and run sound deadening all over. I know before I unscrewed all visible screws and was not able to remove it, only pry it up. How can I remove it, what is the trick? Also, any tricks with ripping up the carpet? Thanks, Todd

I know of the 4 screws visible on the center console (the part with the flip up storage area). Where are the others? I am removing all sound deadening, but then I'm installing good stuff over it. We'll see about the dash, that may be too much work.

I swapped out my dash and put in a mint condition one without a FSM. I have very litte mechanical experiance manly because im 15 years old:D But you have to take the glovebox off, pull off the vented slots by the bottom of the windsheild and there will be 3 screws there, then just look all around the dash for the rest of the bolts...they arnt hard to find. make sure you disconect all the wires before ripping the dash out though:rolleyes:

there are two on the front sides, two on the back sides, and two under the trim piece that goes up around the stereo. it's really not that hard.
