Hey my friend and I get bored really often! Summer is almost over. So I was wondering if you guys know any fun place to drive. Some place curvy, hardly any lights, hardly any cops, and hardly any people to get your way. I live in Southern California. I also wanna see how my s14a handle.

Thanks  :boink:

"hardly any people to get your way. I live in Southern California."

um how many people live in california? think that that theres a good chance that the roads wont be empty? also this is a world wide website....not just for ca, try looking on local boards, they can probably give you better ideas:hammer:

and dont do it on the roads = busted car

Hah! I don't know if anyone is really going to tell you there spots. Especially not on a public forum where everyone can see.

As of lately all the, "curvy, hardly any light" places have been filled up with a lot of ricers, who go up there after watching initial D and have no regard for safety or for other people's safety. They get in accidents and everyone has to go home now because their tiped over car is blocking the freaking road(sorry, i'm venting)

Plus most of the roads are pretty far from you. Do autox a lot safer, and don't have to worry about idiots on the road.

Any local speedways with large parking lots, preferrably deserted.

get as close to canada as you can get. idaho, washington, oregon etc... so few people so many perfect roads. i cannot imagine living any where else. dont expect to be a good mountain driver if you havent driven them your entire life, some old guy in a 2wd ford pickup could probably whoop your ***

most people that have their "spot" tend to keep it pretty secret, dont want it getting busy, and then no longer a good spot. luckily in VA, there curvy EMPTY roads everywhere.

But don't go into Canada... Roads are crap in there... Espacially Quebec. ;)

Our favorite driving spot is X. To get to it you take freeway A to freeway B and exit on ABCD.

Meet some other people and drive with them. Don't drive with people that are a lot more experienced than you, you might kill yourself trying to catch up.

NEVER go 10/10ths on your first time on the run, NO ONE will make fun of you for going slow on your first run.....plus you will stay alive.

Some canyon drives have "populated" sections.....respect them.

There are a lot of people on this forum that would take you on drives....myself included. Must make an effort to build trust though.
