Looks like homemade crap, made from flourescent lighting lenses...
All clear looks gay, but you could go over the whole assembly with translucent paint...all red (no orange) might look cool...

other than the clear tails, this car looks evil GRRRRRRR. that makes the clear tails a little bit mor tolerable hehe.

gross... and yeah it looks like someone took housings and cut some office-ceiling-style fluorescent lamp covers :D

could go with a nice clear cherry red all-around, or leave the corners clear and use a really good amber bulb...

I think that hb would look real tight if the center light was blacked out. Also, I'd like to see a black S14 with those lights. I just like something about black cars with white lights, especially the Lexus RX330.:drool:

I'm not sure if these are mass produced here in the states, but they do sell clear tail light for all silvias in Japan. I've seen them advertised in Option and BM mags. Some who has those mags and a scanner could probably post a pic.

its not chopped. There are quite a few hatches with clear tails. Like the red one that was a drift car. There was a thread a while back about a yahoo japan auction that had those tails for sale, although the center panel said 240sx i beleive.

That black hatch would look nice with kouki tails, and a diff wing.

^yea, i sprayed my orange with translucent red, i think it looks better, plus it covers up some of the cracks i made when i tried to take my taillights apart and found out how tough/stupid that nissan glue was, even with a heat gun and blow dryer.

I have still yet to see where they are for sale anywhere. I have googled it and all and have not come up with a company or website that carriest them. Guess either they stopped carrying them or they just don't exist. Thank god.

Someone e-mailed me wanting to market those S14 lights through my site, I said no.

As for the S13 clear lamps, I have seen them before and I feel its safe to say that there are very few cars that would ever belong on.

Actually, THAT black s13 (the one with the clear center panel) is one of the ONLY cars I would think it would look good on. Why? Because the car looks like it kicks some serious ***, and as if the owner is a gangster, and doesnt give a **** about anything (including the law). If thats the look you want for your car, go for it! :)

If you see the front of that S13, you guys will realize it does look pretty damn mean. I have more pics of that S13 stashed away.

That S13 was up on Yahoo Auctions. Pretty nice drift/VIP car. Sil80 if I'm not mistaken.

The S14 lights are horrible. No shape to them at all.
