Well this is how it went down...
t3 turbo
35mm tial wastegate w 8lbs spring
safc II with -27 across the map- throttle low is 0 throttle high is 50.
370cc injectors
the start up was fine, no stumbling at all. ran it down the road at about 1/4 throttle turned around drove down my street again(1/4 throttle) once again i turned around and gave it about 3/4 gas and let off completely. she stalled, no stumbling or anything just a flat out stall after i let off the gas. after that it wouldnt fire at all.
my buddy out side of the car said he saw a good amount of blue smoke(too rich?).
the engine turns over fine just doesnt seem to fire.
ive checked the spark on the spark plugs- good
checked the injectors- seem to be fine
turned over engine with just stock piping and had great vacuum.
i think im too rich, anyone else?
any help would be awesome!

Hey, what did your spark pluggs look like when you pulled them out. And was the engine running before you put on the SAFC or is it all new. I'm just trying to get a mental picture of everything.

the spark plugs looked ok. they had a little gas on them. i had the safc on for a week without any other mods, ran fine. then i put on the larger injectors and drove that for a day, higher idle...then later that day i installed the turbo.

do you have a BOV on your set up? and if you do is it blowing out into the engine bay? Cus if it is thats your problem with the stalling. you need to have bov valve blow the air back into the pipes before the airsensor

Could the plugs be gapped incorrectly?

well, i took it to nissan and had my buddy work on it and he did a compression test and has concluded that it is the head gasket. so ill be replacing that this week. does anyone know where i can get a metal one for a ka24de?

you are kinda right...
If you are running a open-atmosphere BOV you have to make sure th BOV is closed at idle or else you will get the stumble. If you vented the air in before the air sensor the car would run horribly rich between shifts. The air has to be vented in after the air sensor.

y do u have to recirculate the BOV??
would u have ot do this even if u have the BOV closed at idle like u said?

you don't "HAVE" to recirculate the BOV but by doing this it will prevent the engine from running rich between shifts.

www.backyardproductions.com makes a metal HG for the KA24DE...
even if he had the atmospheric BOV, the SAFC II will regulate that with the right tuning...
after the HG i suggest dishing out 100 bux for the Safc dyno tune..
EDIT: hhmm website doesnt work... try this info:

ya tell me about it duff.
i didnt have a recirculating bov it was atmospherical.
i think i know what went wrong. i had the pressure line from the valve cover put into the intake( like the stock set up). i think it created too much pressure for something in there and it messed up the gasket. ideas?
i took off the head today and im gonna have a buddy from nissan come over and tell me what he thinks. the gasket looks ok to me but i dont know what to look for.
i have pics for anyone that would like me to send them to ya. just let me know. input on what might have happened would be great. i also have pics of the piston heads and gasket etc.
