I just got this s14 2 weeks ago, it has an s13 sr20 redtop swapped into it and an s15 turbo. I took it to a drift event yesterday. It was rainy most of the day and it was drifting fine. In the afternoon it dried up and on slower corners my car would suddenly drop in rpms in 2nd gear from like 4500 to 2800 and it wouldnt even respond for about 2 seconds to the throttle, then it would go again. I then tried downshifting to first gear and it would do the same on the same corners. On the last run I even tossed it into neutral and the throttle still wouldnt respond after the rpms dropped.

This is a fuel cut right? I know the previous owner had a few issues with the fuel pump. Any thoughts would be nice.

uh that could mean many things...first off i would sa a volltage drop at iacv power..
thats cause iacv switched power is less than 12v like a remote wire from a cd player..ie pioneer ,sony kenwood...that why i connect this wire to tru switched 12v
second i would say fruelpump voltage...
in which i would have rewired fruelpump circuit soon after buying said vehicle
ive worked on plenty of swaps and voltage is a big issue..
the less u get the more problems
the more u get the less problems and its easier to figure out the real problems.....
clean iacv...check power to it or change it to strong 12v switched power
and check f/p power or just rewire it better...
trust me its sound like a big deal but its better if u plan on double duty for s14
