I've googled and searched on zilvia and have pretty much havent found the answers im looking for! So here it is

91 s13 with s14 dual cam.

The issue is at night time when i have my lights on. When the car drives its fine theres no issues at all. When i let off the gas and the clutch goes in the car drops in rpms below 500 and goes back up after i let off the brake. When i open the car door and the seat belts move the rpms drop. The worst part is when i stop at a stop light and i push the clutch in the rpms drop so low that i hear clacking coming from the motor but then the rpms rise again. I honestly think that it could be the alternator. I've drivin the car with the lights off at night just to see if id hear the clacking noise when stopping and the rpms seem normal. Any thoughts?

sounds like alternator, check the alternator fuse, then check the battery at autozone or something, and check alternator if those 2 r good, my 2 cents =]

Thanks man i appreciate it. I was thinking about having my alt rebuilt to 100amps for 120 bucks. Another issue came up as well yesterday. Im having a leak come from the fuel filter hose and fuel rail. its right where they meet, i was thinking just replace the hose?

yah if you want the extra power go for the new alternator, and for the hose, make sure you get the exact same size hose, don't want too much fuel :P
