Hello All,
I have been lurking on the boards for awhile and going to a few drift events and meets, so far i haven't been to successful as the car is new to me and i have been having a few mechanical issues. I figured i would start a build thread as i have been working on the car alot and trying to get it ready for the next irwindale event.
So far here is what is done to the car.
Engine:
400ci dart small block
iron block
dart aluminum heads
Fast fuel injection
mikinney mounts
tko 600 trans
the suspension it mostly stock aside from coilovers but after i address the wiring issues i am having i will get on with a more extensive suspension build.
here are some images from when i first bought the car with the motor and trans already installed and wired.

the car had the front bumper when i got the car and i removed it to try to fix some oil leak and wiring issues.
the car also had mickey thompson slicks and the suspension was set up for drag racing..the car ran a 7.80 in the 1/8th

it had full stock interior minus the carpet when i purchased it.

the engine is a dart 400ci small block chevy, the radiator was punctured when i purchased the car so i recently replaced it with a new radiator and 2 spal 1630 push fans.

here is a pic from my first event, the car had a MASSIVE oil leak so i only ran a few runs.

So after fixing the oil leak and some of the wiring issues i took the car out to the Irwindale friday event. It ran a few runs ok but on the 4th run the car was cutting out on throttle and then would shut off, i later discovered that the ecu was not getting a consistent tach signal causing the fuel injection not the fire.

i am currently working on cleaning all the wiring and making sure the car get a constant tach signal..hopefully i will be out at the next event.
