View Full Version : s14 jdm quarter glass visors wont light up

i spent money on these visors and cant get either of the 2 "Silvia" logo's to light up.
each visor has 2 wires( easy rite!?) i used a 9v battery at first then used my battery charger but still neither will light up. i dont have the factory relay but i didn't think i would need that.
any suggestions iv put direct power and nothing. i think the lights are LEDs.

These visors are indiglo so you need to locate and buy the resistor box that most indiglo gauges come with.

well, like you said, only two cables...ground and power.
if you arent getting them to light up by simply putting power and ground to them, im gonna assume theyre broken.... hmmm

You probably didn't destroy them just by hooking them directly to power. I did the same before I realized I needed the inverter for indiglo lights. Found a set on ebay for like 10bucks - Wired the inverter or whatever you call it up to the battery to test and they worked great.
