Self explanatory (plus an explanation!)

Nissan Consult Cable (streamlines live data to a laptop, performs active tests [i.e. put your nissan into timing mode without doing that damn "rain dance"], awesome tool for data logging! can perform ROM tuning/dumping with the proper software as well!): $70

I bought it, used it for a little bit, then upgraded to baller LCD consult interface. This shit still works good though, just requires the use of a laptop.

Here's a description on what kind of cars it can be used on:

Car Support

Nissan Consult is supported on most petrol powered (generally not diesel) Nissans built in the 1990s. If the car has the female consult port (http://ecutalk.com/images/consultport.jpg), it will most likely support consult. There are exceptions to the rule, however. Consult is only supported on the Nissan ECUs, so replacement ECUs like the PowerFC, etc, will not support it (remapped/daughterboards ECUs or those with piggybacks like SAFC should be fine). Also some late model cars from 1999 may have an OBDII port and a Consult port, but only retain the consult port it for ancilliary systems (like AT, AirCon, HICAS, etc) diagnostics, but the main ECU may be OBDII.

Here's a link to the site where I purchased it from.

It's from Australia, so it's kangaroo scented as an added bonus!

Cheap quick releases, two available, one red, one some weird color. (hella JDM, bro): $20 each.
