i have a 1990 fb and everytime i drive it the gauge says im goin 65mph in 3rd gear,so either my car is really fast or its just f***ed up, i thinks its the secong 1, so can somebody help me outs

....just to be clear...you mean anytime at any speed you are in 3rd, it reads 65??
It is not uncommon to get 65 in 3rd, I can get over 90 in 3rd at redline...and thats MPH...so what is it...a needle that just says 65 anytime you are in 3rd, or that you run 3rd up to 65 (which is a shade under 4700RPM)

look for one of those radar trailers and test how fast your going

maybe ish nothin...sometimes when im going 65 i am still on 3rd gear..
if you think theres a problem..try leting go of gas....

its allways reading the wrong thing not just in 3rd its ALWAYS reading wrong.

juss go buy a JDM cluster gauge from ebay...Those digital ones look pretty nice, but I hear they can malfunction..im not sure..juss wut I herd.

Thats one of the things I noticed in my car when I first got it. Just get one of your friends to pace you on an open stretch of highway.
Perferably a car with stock wheels to maintain the right gear ratio, your speedo may be a little off... but not enough to tear into your car.
