Headlight issue

I have a 1992 240sx. I am currently having problems with the pop light on the passenger side. The light will only go up and not come down. If anyone can give me some help it would be greatly appreciated.

Check the actuator or motor, whatever makes the light go up and down. Find the power and ground to it and put 12volts to it, should go up or down or do something. Then reverse the polarity so put 12 to the ground wire, and ground the power wire, whatever it did the first time it should do the direct opposite. In other words if it went up, it should go down.

That or your motor/actuator could be bad.

mine did the same thing, i just unplugged it and ran it up by hand. now both of mine stay up and its time for a silvia conversion. i do love the way the pop up head lights look, just sucks when the motors go out and parts are getting harder to find
