ok...im no one special..
but ive got an awesome idea...
dual trigger
ignition
current
upgrade.....
yashio factory offers a similar idea....
YASHIO Factory HomePage (http://www.yashiofactory.co.jp/)
it sells for 203.00
my idea is way cheaper
and i can almost insure a 1-2v increase on coilpack power
and its a plug and play affair....
custom ignition harness upgrades available now...
as far as to order...non avail...
pm me if anyones interested....
by the way i did this on my ka once upon a time
and i shot fire out the exhaust due to such a hot spark
these r the pics of the harness..i used 8g amp wire and soldered and double wrapped with tape and loom

so this set up uses no ignitor? i'm not going to lie just the pictures = i'm a tad bit confused.
now if you're trying to sell these this thread will get locked/moved. wrong place
and one last thing. hot sparks lead to no flames out the tailpipe. flames out tailpipe=bad, in most cases. calling B.S.?

Igniter has to be present.. You can see that on PIC 5. Most relay mods is typically design to grab power direct from the source to get the most voltage and use existing power as triggers. I like the concept as I've never done it on an SR. I always use this however on my Fuel Pumps and KA Ignition coil.
OP... Got any wiring diagram?

thank u sir..
and ive rewired my fuelpump..iacv.fans.gauges...with a complete subsystem from my car so it dont draw much on factory electrics....s13s r old..and im not trying to break my sr
and yes i do shoot flames cause turbo oil seals r goin and im running rich cause of no tune....iam not neccessarily trying to sell but just offering up my services.....i will be putting up a wire schematic but ive been busy:2f2f:

Post a schematic soon. I need a visual of this idea. THanks.

Yeah, I would love to see a simple schematic if you'd be willing to make one. This sounds like a good and cheap upgrade.

OK i cant give a artistic rendition but i can explain it and give the relay pins to connect to
first spit the Sr coil pack harness...
u will see 1 red wire that splits to 4 wires...
this is Ur coil-pack switched power...
Wat i did was use 8 Ga amp wire
i soldered 1 wire to a pair of coil-packs
an then solder an extension wire to the coil-pack switch on...
the solder a ground extension to the ground...for either to batt. ground or chassis
run one wire from battery terminal or post for hot input...
u will jump the power with a smaller wire just to split power at relays..
a standard 40 amp relay will have the pins labeled..
both pins 87 get 12v from battery
both pins 86 get ground
both pins 85 get trigger from extended coil-pack switch wire
both pins 30 go to the separated and extended coil-pack power wires
make sure to use 3m temflex blk tape and blk loom to make it look good and work for a long time...
any questions just ask or pm me
and just look at the pics too

Nice setup for sure!
However even when using all of these relays, it often puts a drain on the systems total pwoer output...
Have you looked at my Quest Alternator conversion kits for SR20?

hi
i have honda civic 2006 fd with r18 engine 1.8L 4 cyl and want to do the same
i was going through this awesome upgrade but didn't get few things as you have used this relay in a different pattern when it come to wiring pins as
pin 30 is 12v+
pin 86 is ignition ground
pin 87 is out put positive
pin 85 is -negative or ground
but what is mentioned above is completely opposite this
your pin out diagram
a standard 40 amp relay will have the pins labeled..
both pins 87 get 12v from battery
both pins 86 get ground
both pins 85 get trigger from extended coil-pack switch wire
both pins 30 go to the separated and extended coil-pack power wires
would appriciate if you can explain it little more for a newbie to understand if the same pattern will work for my civic has COP = coil on plug
