saw something cool in STL

i went to the nopi drag race in St. Louis this past weekend and saw some pretty cool stuff. one thing in particular caught my eye. and oddly enough it was in the apc booth.

that car is straight from japan
one of the "Team Orange" drift cars

they have been bought out by APC for those who dont know

yes, its a 100% pure drift car :) setup for that purpose. not sure who drives it, i want to say Tanaka, but not sure on that so dont quote me.....

i love the taillights like that, its actual body work, not painted!
up close the car is tore up, but it looks very good to excellent from a distance :)

yeah it had some battle scars but i think it made the car that much cooler. there was an APC brochure in their booth that says they will be selling a new driftworks line of products. ofcourse this could be a good thing or a bad thing. if they are just importing japanese parts it will be great, but i doubt it will go that way.

i like those tailights too. its like a fiberglass piece covering the bottom half of the tailights.

Ya I have seen that car in some videos. And those lights do own, especially on the K's Style Truck.

The white car (and the red car next to it) both have SR swaps. The white one just got in from Cali, one of the local guys bought it. Runs good and it pretty clean.

Yeah, I was planning on coming up to. But I was going to go watch the road race at Gateway and then try to crash nopi, cause I dont care who was there, that rice is not worth $25.

dousan - i believe Izumida was driving that car at driver search. Tanaka was driving the other 180 with the big carbon wing.
i think asamoto was supposed to drive that car but Izumida drove it instead because his r32 had tranny problems.

I WANT THAT FRONT BUMPER! I've seen one that looks really close to that on another pic of a S13 car, the closest I could find was the M-Sports S13 bumper but it wasn't the same. Now I see that one :D Is it made by Team Orange or whom? I hope APC doesn't ricify our cars now, but if they can get me that bumper I wouldn't mind :D

no, dont do that
if u did any researching:

1) autoimaging front page..read the message
2) GP sports is backordered and people have been waiting for their stuff for quite some time (4+ months for some)
3) autoimaging is virtually impossible to reach as of late
