Looks nice, however, I was under the impression that "cell shading" means that you took a 3D rendered image and added fill colors to closed objects and applied light sourcing to the vectored image...?

Looks nice but the rims look too much out of place, shoulda done those as well.

I also agree with changing the color and losing the stripe, but nice job.

I tried doing that to my car, didn't come out as nice looking, but I was trying to do it using the tutorial. I will try your way, looks a lot easier cuz there is no lighting and shadows :D

driftaholic, yes i have read the tutorial, but I am still learning the pen, its a bit tricky cause i just switch to photo shop 7. Ive been using the line tool the whole time. You tear that **** up, mutch props to you. I dont really understand where to add shadow and highlights, myabe ill figure it out...

Very much so. The reason for this is it takes space AKA bandwidth on a server to hold that information. That is why some of the guys and girls have been trying to let the noobs now that they need to Search before they post anything.

Ahhhhh now i get the pen tool, thanks that helped a lot. But I made another layer by going to Layer->Duplicate layer

How do i see my lines without the actual picture like in the last pic on the 1st page?

you take away the original pic by hiding it.
to make new layers go Layer-New Layer or Ctrl-Shift-N
i hope you're drawing lines on a separate layer from the origial pic
