removing the black strip

So I am removing the black strip that goes around my car, but it leaves this sticky crap behind..which is very hard to remove...
I used clay bar to try to remove it, but it is taking foever!
Any suggestions??:mad:

Goo Gone will work, but Its not good for your paint. Best thing is to use a polish or cleaning wax, it should get it off with little effort.

Go to an auto body supply store and get a glue eraser. They sell them really cheap and they will take the glue right off the car. Just put it in a drill and start erasing.

Yea i want to take mine off too, anyone have any pics of a 240 w/out em? does it look better or worse without them because i personally hate them.

anyways, i also want to take some trim off but my car has black primer over it, in other words, the paint doesent matter right now... whats the best product out there to remove it?

thanx fellas I juss got all that tape outta there..i used this stuff call goo off..smelled like gasoline, but did the job..if assmunkye still wanna see a 240 wit the tape off I will take pics after I give it a wash and wax.:D

3m adhesive remover trust me bro if its strong enough to remove that sticky glue when taking off tint then itll work TRUST ME!!!!:boink:

hmmm wish someone would have told me about the goo thing..i used a dremel with a wire brush...got the job done..missin some paint..but no sticky icky icky!:D
