Look at the back of an S14.
Look at the back of an S15.
A lot of metal, bondo, time, and money is what you'll need.

you got alot money? cause thats all it takes. just go to the body shop and tell them heres a picture of what i want, and here are the tail lights. then hand over a hand full of money and presto your coversion is done.
btw i think its stupid not because of the money but because the entire body of the s14 is different than the s15. so the tail lights won't match the body style and body lines of the s14. plus it costs an a*s load of money.

Step One: Find a S15 Silvia
Step Two: Get a plasma cutter (or other cutting device)
Step Three: Cut the *** off the S15
Step Four: Take S15 *** and S14 to body shop
Step Five: Give bodyshop lots of money to weld S15 *** to S14
Step Six: Done.

Ha, i was about to mention that car before i saw your post. Yeah that s14 with the s13 front and the s15 rear actually looks good. I saw it in action on one of my option vids, good stuff. It will definately take alot of work though.

ok.
Here's what I don't get.
Do people just like the s15 tails cuz it comes from an s15??? I mean, I really don't get it, I think they're fugly and VERY dated looking... almost like late 80's early 90's style. Reminds me of a Grand Am or something... (haha, I know I'ma get flamed big for that one)
I think the s14a lights look really badazz. I'm all for changing things around and looking different, but I think the main reason not a lot of people know how to do it, or how much it costs, is becuase it looks like a$$ to begin with. Put it this way, if I had a s15, I'd do a s14a tail light conversion on it ;)
Oh, and dont tell me I'm just a JDM hater, I've got kouki tails on my hatch that I think look amazing :P

i think s15 taillights are damn sexy

dated? i dont think so..but its opinion so..whatever!

my favorite s15...Taniguchi's personal car (the one he used in D1GP first year..2001). when it was red. after the yellow (stock)--red w/ the Model 5s (silver), no wing, Vertex ridge kit and the pair of brix inside w/ the nardi, and all his interior goodies. that car was (now im not so crzy for its looks) SWEET!

Hmm... imagining the car above with clear instead of the amber would make it look WAY better, I still think the s14a's look better, but the clear would make it look 100% better :)

I feel the same way. I think the S15 tails are probably the worst out of all the other S-Chasis cars. I figured it was all just in a name. S15 tails look nice on S15s but thats just cuz the rest of the S15 is so damn sexy.
And ya they do look like Grand Am lights, but I always like Grand Ams, my neighbor has the new GTP one, pretty nice looking and a nice ride :D.
And to the S14 thats on that site, if you look at that tiny *** pic, you'll see it looks real odd in the side profile shot.
Anyone got bigger pics of this car?

i always thought they looked kinda like grand am lights too, but thats beside the point. i'd love to see the pic of the clear/red s15 lights...that just sounds hot

who ever phil was, he had one nice *** ride... that interior was imaculate...
regardless, your right those tails dont suite the car...
silviainmyfuture; sure its all on you. As you can see it has been done, anything is possible with time and money, but as you can see there is alot of cut and pasting to be done there...
good luck, and since youve got all that money; why don tyou hook a brother up?

i think so, because the s15 is basically an unreachable for people in the US. the S15 headlights are nice, but I don't think that's the reason that people get conversions, it's because they can't get the s15. the S14 kouki headlights are nice too, but you don't see hondas getting s14 conversion as much as s15 conversion. it's all because it's JDM and they don't exist here. if they didn't make the s14, i bet people would be trying to put s14 head and tail lights on their s13's

i gotta agree with dousan..when u see themin person..its a different story..
i like wat Ken Nomura does with his taillights..he liek painted it the same color..the amber part
Unless youre going to totally reflair the rear wheelwells it just looks like crap IMO. BTW the way uras does their s15 tails looks the best I think. Cover the ambers with bodycolor eyebrows. :boink:

um kinda out of it, but how easy is the fitment of s13 front on s14? direct/minor moding, or major? obviously u'll need bumper/hood/fenders, lights, bumper support (?!). but how easy to fit?
