Just wondering what the TPS actually does? Or if it will cut power to the sprk. Plugs if its mal adjusted or faulting. This is for an rb20det but that shouldn't really matter.

Thanks

Throttle position sensor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Throttle_position_sensor)

The ignition timing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignition_timing) and fuel injection (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuel_injection) timing (and potentially other parameters) are altered depending upon the position of the throttle, and also depending on the rate of change of that position
