I am upgrading my turbo to a S14 unit, and will be using the S14 water neck/weld a port on the S13 unit. During that, I will remove the intake manifold to reroute my water lines (to/from chassis, block stock turbo water line, etc), and change to an aftermarket oil block for my oil cooler setup.
Is it ok to remove the water line going to the IACV? Will there be any ill effects?
Thanks in advance

need the coolant for it to work properly, don't remove it.

I think if you do, you will just lose the cold fast idle functionality....I think....
EDIT
Nevermind....yeah you should keep it, because if their is NO coolant, it will probably always read cold and want to fast idle....

You could remove it and block off the ports on the IM/TB for the IACV. The car will be hard to cold start and you will loose the Fast Idle, but you won't have hot coolant heating up your intake charge.
If it's a track only car, I'd consider removing it. However, for daily drivability...I'd leave the system in place.
